Design
Following the discovery phase, the brand comes to life as we develop the brand narrative and elements that become the basis of the brand. This vision morphs as we get your feedback and emerges methodically to tell your brand story.

Branding
Brand Character and Tone of Voice
As part of the narrative, we’ll establish the character and tone of voice for your brand, serving to further differentiate you in ways that resonate most with target audiences. Are you a brand with swagger? Sophistication? Witty and pithy, honest and to the point? Defining your brand character helps set the stage for further creative activations and executions and ensures that it all works together.
Tagline Development
Gaslight will create recommendations for the tagline – a succinct, memorable description intended to capture the overall benefit and value of, as well as impart positive feelings about your brand. A good tagline is both a descriptor and invitation to learn more.
Brand Look and Feel
The approved brand strategy and message mapping provide the guidance for Gaslight's creative team to explore logo and tagline recommendations.
Brand Identity and Logo
Gaslight will develop recommendations for a new logo, if needed—the visual representation of your brand and its product. Typically, Gaslight approaches this with a holistic view, ensuring that all essential elements are thought about at the beginning. We will consider the look and feel of category competitors as part of this process.
Brand Bible
The official encyclopedia of your brand identity: the brand bible. While a brand mark stays the same, the brand identity must be flexible enough to be successfully applied across all of your brand marketing and communication vehicles from the website to digital & traditional advertising, videos to business cards and beyond.
The brand guidelines will ensure proper representation of the brand via various channels of execution including advertising, public relations, digital, signage, etc. To achieve this, the Gaslight team will work with you to develop a brand platform standards guide that represents the creative platform. Content may include:
• Brand promise, positioning statement, value pillars
• Brand messaging and mindset maps
• Voice/personality of the brand
• Logo and tagline usage guidelines
• Color palette
• Typography guidelines
• Guidelines for photography and video use
Marketing Assets
With your brand established, the next stage is to identify and create the materials that are needed to convey that brand to the public. This includes a tailored curation of the assets that will help your brand outshine your competition.
Assets can include a new or updated website, mobile applications, media messaging, marketing collateral, advertising creative and copy, and more.
Communications
Whether you're a start-up or a long-established brand, we will provide recommendations for the best marketing vehicles to convey your messages and build brand awareness among your target audiences. There are many forms this can take and depends on your specific industry and brand. Do you have a story to tell? We’ll create and execute a public relations plan to secure earned media. Are you selling a product? Paid ads on social media may be the best option. Need to keep it old school? We can develop an ad campaign that is featured on billboards and the sides of public transportation.

Video & Audio Creative
In association with Sony Music Publishing, Gaslight has a Voiceover and custom music creation commercial recording facility in Los Angeles. We offer our broadcast mixing and mastering services for TV advertising, content creation, as well as audio branding.
Our work has been awarded two Clios, an Oscar nomination as well as UK film/TV sync award nomination. The implementation of high quality audio audio/video content is one of the most impactful and engaging pieces of content we recommend for brands
